The largest importing countries in the EU have increased Russian imports in the last 20 years, with only a slight decrease in the last 5 years. The most significant decreases of the dependence on Russian oil in the EU were observed in case of Bulgaria, Hungary and Croatia. Romania has managed to reduce its dependence significantly in the last 5 years especially in percentage terms.
